We offer coaching and guidance for new axe-throwers, and we’re committed to the safety and well-being of our guests. We want you to have an afternoon or evening of safe, competitive fun here at LumberJaxe Ottawa. Our axe throwing facility is in a central location. We’re convenient to a number of Ottawa neighbourhoods such as Centretown, Little Italy, Hintonburg, Westboro, Downtown, ByWard Market, Lowertown, the West End, The Glebe and many others. Ottawa is known for harsh winters, but also for a hearty people who don’t let a little weather get in the way.
LumberJaxe Ottawa is a year-round venue for fun that’s easy to get to, with plenty of parking onsite. Our neighbours include a fantastic bakery and even a brewery. We’re also conveniently located on or near a number of bus lines and close to the new LRT train (Bayview station) as well.

We are able to make the event fit your needs. Want a sit-down dinner and axe throwing for 100 people? Want to host a sales meeting and presentation before throwing an axe throwing champion? Want a meet and greet over wine tasting while our axe coaches instruct your clients? We can do this and more!

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to make a reservation?
You are not required to make a reservation during our regular/walk in hours Thursday - Saturday, however it is recommended. Any reservations outside of these hours (Monday – Wednesday & Sunday) are required to book and pay a deposit 48+ hours in advance, have a minimum of 6 participants and reserve for at least 2 hours.
Do you serve alcohol? Can I bring my own alcohol?
You may not bring your own alcohol. LumberJaxe is proud to offer you beer, cider and wine available for purchase.
What is the age limit?
